The large centrally located, rectangular and smoothly ridged tan mollusk shell fragment stands out against a colorful spectrum of clear, cloudy, tan, greenish and black sand grains.
A centrally located elongated white sand grain and a square light tan grain at the bottom left are likely marine shell fragments that are present along with a majority of clear and colorful geological sand grains.
Two centrally located larger off-white sand grains are likely smoothly worn marine shell fragments. Some other white and off-white grains may also be marine shell fragments. Clear refractile quartz grains and a spectrum of darker grains make up the rest of this primarily geological sand sample.
